A 62-year-old Bradford man faces charges are weilding an axe and uttering threats Wednesday.

South Simcoe Police report a person was walking a dog on Maplegrove Avenue when they stopped so the dog could urinate on a tree.

At that time, the man came out of his house holding the axe and yelling threats toward the victim and pet, police said.

The man faces uttering threats and weapons dangerous charges.
