Funeral Friday for Brandon Crisp

A funeral service for Brandon Crisp is scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Barrie.

Brandon was the 15-year-old boy who was the subject of a massive search operation after he left home Thanksgiving Day after a family dispute.

His body was found last week by hunters in Oro-Medonte.

An autopsy report completed on the weekend determined Brandon died from injuries associated with a fall from a tree.

He was also officially identified through dental records.

Visitation will take place in the chapel at Steckley-Gooderham funeral home on Worsley Street Thursday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The funeral mass if Friday at 10 a.m.
