Town getting ready for Christmas spirit

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury and the Bradford Board of Trade want the town to be aglow with the spirit of Christmas.

The organizations have partnered for the Light up the Town Christmas decoration contest.

Prizes will be divided into two categories: commercial and residential.

Businesses are encouraged to decorate before Saturday’s Santa Claus Parade, while residents are asked to do so as soon as possible.

Residents can register their address for the contest by e-mailing marketing@bradfordboardoftrade.com or calling 905-778-8727, ext. 6.

The judging will take place the week of Nov. 30.

The winners will be announced Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. during the town’s candle light walk and tree lighting event.
