The Jaguar C-XF has been named Concept Car of the Year by leading Japanese design magazine CAR STYLING. Established 30 years ago, CAR STYLING is read all over the world and is the only design magazine published in both Japanese and English.
Jaguar's Design Director, Ian Callum said, "it is a great honour for Jaguar to receive this award from such a reputable journal like CAR STYLING, a magazine that all designers have grown up with for the last 30 years."
Designed and built in the UK by the same teams that produced the award-winning Jaguar XK in 2006, the C-XF concept was a precursor to cars that will become recognized for their ground-breaking exterior looks and innovative interiors such as the new XF, revealed for the first time at Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The XF is the next iteration of Jaguar's stunning new design language applied for the first time to a luxury saloon. Fusing sports car styling and performance with the refinement, features and space of a luxury sedan, the XF embodies the Jaguar philosophy of creating beautiful, fast cars.
