Set on Fairy Lake in Newmarket, this two-day festival features a variety of entertainments and education on a sustainable living theme. The following are just some of the highlights:
Pre-festival Events:
June 3 & 4: Green Reel Film Festival.
June 3: Toxic Trespass, 7:30 p.m.; Everything Chocolate, 222 Main Street, Newmarket, donations are accepted.
June 4: FLOW: For Love Of Water, 7:30 p.m., Up The Yangtze, 9 p.m., $10, Old Town Hall Theatre, Botsford Street, Newmarket.
June 5: Greenhouse Gas and Trash Fashion Awards.
A fun and thought-provoking evening of fashion made from a variety of offbeat materials recycled into fabulous clothing. Also featuring the Second City Comedy Troupe.

June 6, 7: Green Ideas Conference.
Presentations and workshops on such topics as: Solar Energy; Wind Energy; DIY Green Energy Retrofits; Vegetarian Cooking; Live Organics and Raw Food; Lake Simcoe Protection Act; Georgina Island Pukwis Windfarm; Bicycle Touring.
Featuring noted environmental professionals and speakers. Conferences held at the Town Municipal Offices, 395 Mulock Drive, Newmarket.
