Gracious Aurora area green thumbs will allow the public to have a peak at the fruit and flora of their labours next Sunday.
The Aurora Garden tour, which takes place July 6, will offer the community an opportunity to visit seven spectacular gardens and meet talented people who created them.
The tour is expected to give budding gardeners a chance to get ideas and receive tips from those whose gardening endeavours have thrived.
The tour will run from noon to 5 p.m. and tickets are $10 each. For more information, call 905-727-5926.
This year’s tour is especially significant as the group responsible for it, the Aurora Garden and Horticultural Society, is celebrating its 90th anniversary as part of Aurora’s year of arts, culture and heritage.
