Classic cars at museum next month

You can visit classic cars at the Markham Museum next month or just show off yours.

The museum, on Hwy. 48 north of 16th Avenue, is hosting the Rotary Classic Car Show Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cars and trucks made before 1980 are welcome.

Early bird registrants pay an entry donation of $5; after July 31, it’s $10.

Show admission is $2 and includes live music, plus access to the museum’s transportation exhibit, historic village, rides and raffles.

All proceeds go to the museum.
