The upcoming musical tribute, called the Revue, will feature the talents of Aurora resident George St. Kitts, along with a whole assortment of other talented musicians.
Mr. St. Kitts has accumulated a lengthy resume of accomplishments over his 30 years in show business earning multiple Juno nominations and legions of fans.
Apart from his skills as a singer, songwriter, producer and choreographer, Mr. St. Kitts has also branched into acting, landing the understudy role of Banzai the hyena in the Lion King during its three-and-a-half year run and also playing Sammy Davis Jr. in the 2005 production of the Rat Pack at Toronto’s Canon Theatre.
Mr. St. Kitts’ third album, A Lot of Livin’ to Do, was released in January of this year.
Mr. St. Kitts will have plenty of company during the two shows in the region.
He will be joined by the Sounds of Motown, which is made up of artists Lorraine Scott, Toni Anderson, Steve JLin, Billy Newton-Davis, Kenni Hite and Jerelle Christie.
As if that wasn’t enough, this musical extravaganza will also feature even more tremendously talented artists, including Debbie Johnson, Rick Levine, Demo Cates, Capital Dance Productions and Debi Sander-Walker.
