The Newmarket Saints will be fighting for their playoff lives tomorrow night in the third game of the Ontario Lacrosse Association Jr. B East Conference quarter-final series against the Halton Hills Bulldogs in Georgetown.

The Bulldogs rode a four-goal, one-assist performane by Nic Grasby to a 6-5 victory Wednesday night at the Ray Twinney Complex to take a commanding 2-0 lead in games in the best-of-five series.

Mike Vertolli had a goal and three assists for the Saints. Single goals by Shawn Beer, TJ Cook, Logan Hurst and Jacob Donato rounded out the Newmarket scoring.

If the Saints win, Game 4 of the series is to be played Sunday (7 p.m.) at the Ray Twinney Complex.
