Jason Hathaway drove the Stouffville Team 3 Red/EHR Snap-on Tools Dodge to a 13th-place finish in last Saturday’s NASCAR Canadian Tire Series A and W 300 Race at the Barrie Speedway.

Qualifying in 16th spot, Hathaway was involved in an incident on the 34th lap, but got back out on to the track to gather as many points as possible and finished the race.

Peter Gibbons drove his Canadian Tire/Mobil Super Chevy to a 17th-place finish.

The 45-year-old Stouffville resident began the race in the 15th position and completed 222 laps.

The result dropped Gibbons into sixth place in the overall series standings with 420 points.

The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series resumes today with the Kodak 250 at the Autodome St. Eustache, in Quebec. The event was postponed in late May due to inclement weather.
