York Regional Police are investigating a report that hateful slurs were scratched on a wall at a Thornhill building.

The appearance of a profane, anti-Semitic slur scratched into a wall near an elevator at the building on Maison Parc Court, northeast of Dufferin Street and Steeles Avenue, was reported to security guards on July 14, according to police spokesperson Const. Marina Orlovski. The incident was reported to police Monday, she added.

Police have no suspects.
