Woodbridge hairstylist wins $50,000

A Woodbridge hairstylist is $50,000 richer thanks to a winning Ontario 49 ticket.

Maurizio Parise, won in the July 26 draw.

“I was so excited I couldn’t even spell my own name,” Mr. Parise told Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation staff.

The father of three, along with his wife Rose, plan to renovate their home with the windfall.

The winning ticket was bought at Sheppard Centre Ticket Shop in the Yonge/Sheppard Centre on Yonge Street in Toronto.
