Opera York will present Carmen

Opera York will be presenting George Bizet’s ‘Carmen’ next month in Markham.

The musical show will feature Adriana Albu, Keith Klassen, Andres Tees and Giovanna Carini, with full orchestra and chorus, under artistic and musical director Geoffrey Butler. The stage director for the performance will be Melissa Bencic.

There will be two performances of Carmen; Thursday, November 13 at 8 p.m. and Friday, November 14 also at at 8 p.m. at the Markham Theatre for the Performing Arts,  171 Town Centre Blvd. Ticket prices range between $35 and $45; to purchase them call 905-763-7853 or e-mail info@operayork.com.
