We went out for lunch at the Canaan Chinese restaurant in Newmarket Aug. 26 with two of our residents, Lindy and Brad. Both are deafblind.
We finished our meal and were waiting for the bill.
When the waiter arrived with the slip, it was blank.
The waiter informed us two men had paid for our lunch.
They didn’t say hello or anything, they just picked up our bill.
We were nearly in tears thinking how generous and thoughtful some people are.
On behalf of Lindy and Brad, we would like to express our gratitude to these two men for their generosity and kindness.
