Vali Stone, a resident of Newmarket for 32 years, where she lives with her husband and two children. She is the author of the book
Cops Don't Cry and won the In Celebration of Women Author Award in 2003. Vali has been published in many genres and has spent the last four years travelling as a public speaker throughout Canada and the United States. She is currently teaching English, Communications and Public Speaking at Georgian College.
