York Regional Police have charged a Pefferlaw man in a sexual assault investigation that dates back nearly 30 years. 

A young female was sexually assaulted between 1979 and 1982, police said.

Thursday, Raymond Wright, 53, of Pefferlaw, was charged with three counts of indecent assault.

Investigators in the crimes against children unit are seeking information about Mr. Wright.

They are also working to determine if there are other victims.

Mr. Wright is scheduled for a court appearance today.
