The Trois-Rivieres Attak had one thing on their minds when they played host to the Vaughan
Italia Shooters in their Canadian Soccer League match Saturday.
Revenge.
Back on May 25, when the two clubs met for the first time this season, Italia prevailed 1-0.
But when the two clubs met for the rematch, the Attak won 4-0, extending their undefeated streak to nine games.
The Attak scored twice in the opening half on goals by Christian Munez and Nicolas Lesage.
Hector Contreras and defender Alex Surprenant scored the other Attak goals in the second half.
Despite the loss, the Italia Shooters remain tied for first place in the International Division with Toronto Croatia with 19 points.
The Attak occupy first place in the National Division with a 6-1-3 record.
The Italia Shooters resume league play Sunday when they host the Brampton Lions at St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School field in Maple at 4 p.m.
The Lions hold down second place in the National Division with a 4-3-3 mark.
