Keenan Dalton and Garrett Barlow both had five hits and combined to drive in nine runs as the Peel Fence/Kinsmen Hawks blasted the Barrie Red Sox 19-5 Thursday night in York Simcoe Baseball Association action in Barrie.
Dalton had a triple and two doubles to drive in five runs for the Hawks. Barlow hit a pair of doubles.
Bryn Sanford cracked a double among four hits.

Tyler Lansley smacked a double and triple and Christian Wolfe collected two hits as the Restored Sports/Reebok Hawks completed a doubleheader sweep of the East York Bulldogs Sunday in York Simcoe-Toronto Baseball Association interlock play with an 8-2 victory.
Newmarket won the opener by a 7-6 count.
Minor Peewee
The Mr. Rooter/Devlin Engineering Hawks rallied for six runs in the top of the seventh inning to edge the Etobicoke Titans 12-11 to earn a split of games played last week.
Jeff Bryce and Dallas Faulkner both drove in two runs for the Hawks who also dropped a 5-4 verdict to the Aurora Jays.
Bantam
Dan Torrence collected three hits and Bradley Pullen tossed three innings of hitless relief as the Mr. Rooter/Tom & Jerry’s Hawks claimed an 11-7 victory Thursday against the Scarborough Stingers.
Newmarket also swept a doubleheader from the West Toronto Wildcats to open play last week.
Junior
The St. Thomas Tomcats exploded for eight runs in the third inning to defeat the Knappett Diamonds/Gabby’s Hawks 8-2 in Sunday’s championship game of a tournament in Chatham.
Newmarket squeezed into the final on the strength of a 2-1 record, including a 4-2 victory over the Riverside Royals behind an Anthony Douris four-hitter earlier in the day.
Jayson Miller and Garrett Davies drove in runs for the Hawks.
