Attractions
Whether you are a teacher looking to liven up curriculum, an adult hosting a party, or simply a parent looking for something fun to do with your children, ZOOZ Indoor Playground has a wild time to offer you. The 4200 square foot jungle-themed facility caters birthday parties and offers a wide range of academic programs focussing on wildlife and habitat education hosted by zoology staff.
The ZOOZ facility features a catered eating area and a variety of play areas, the crown jewel of which is the 30-foot wide indoor play structure. Also of interest is the live pet store, where children will find small reptiles, mammals, birds and fish. The gift shop offers a selection of low-priced items, in addition to themed party supplies for those parents who prefer to host their parties at home. ZOOZ programs are designed to be all-inclusive, and as such small group activities are emphasized. In addition, the facility is a strictly peanut-free environment.
Birthday party packages, which range in price from $199 to $289 and can accommodate up to 24 children, include exclusive use of a party room and eating facilities. Set up and clean up are, of course, the responsibility of the staff. The entertaining and educational field trip programmes include time for both unstructured play and structured hands-on activities. ZOOZ also offers summer camps and is open to the public on weekdays. A weekday pass costs $8 per child, but siblings receive a discount and adults are free. Of interest to the environmentally conscious adult, ZOOZ collects donations for its Twoonies for Tigers program, the proceeds of which go to the World Wildlife Fund.
ZOOZ Indoor Playground is located at 73 Industrial Parkway North, Unit 2B in Aurora, off Wellington Street East. For more information, call (905) 713-1800 or visit
