One of Stouffville's most popular party destinations, Magic Hill Farm is a 100-acre facility that offers all the best in seasonal recreation. Voted “Business of the Year” by the Whitchurch-Stouffville Chamber of Commerce, the farm is designed to host large events such as grad parties, reunions, and corporate events.
The farm hosts only one party at a time, giving each group exclusive use of the facilities and the full attention of the staff.
Functioning as a “cut-your-own” Christmas tree farm during the winter, Magic Hill features a variety of activities designed to suit different events and age groups. Young children especially enjoy the Bunny Town and Giant's Playground areas. The 40-foot-high sand hill is also a big hit with children, as is the Rule-less Square, where children can enjoy indulging in such rebellious activities as writing on walls, jumping on mattresses, and causing a general ruckus.
Adults can engage in traditional sports such as basketball, tetherball, miniature golf, and beach volleyball, or they can opt for more unusual activities such as obstacle courses and sponge tosses. The Magic Springs water park and the newly opened private beach are also immensely popular on hot days. For special events, the 4000 square foot open-air Green Tent Cabaret is always a hit. The staff also offers organized activities and intra-group competitions.
Magic Hill Farm is best known for its haunted adventures, offered on weekends in October. The facility opens five horrifying attractions and has been frightening customers for 15 years. The hayrides and lengthy mazes draw crowds every year, and are especially popular with teenagers. No children under eight are permitted, due to the intensity of the attractions.
Magic Hill Farm is located at 13953 Ninth Line in Stouffville. For more information, call (905) 640-2347 or visit www.magichill.com.
