The Aurora Sports Dome, built by the Redvers family in 2005, is one of Ontario’s leading edge recreation complexes.
The state-of-the-art facility is home to the Aurora Youth Soccer Club, which runs their indoor programs here from October to April.
It also accommodates other turf sports such as lacrosse, baseball, golf and football.
With a span of 200’ x 300’, the infield turf is perfect for full field sports.
The surface is also divided into three 90’ x 200’ areas to accommodate smaller field games.
The clubhouse has 3 change rooms (2 with showers), a party room and a comfortable lounge with windows for spectators to watch all the action.
There is also a golf range, open weekdays utilizing a 200’ driving space. A resident pro offers private and group instruction.
The dome has played host to many events including as a practice venue for the 2007 International College Bowl winning Cincinnati Bearcats, and the Girls Guides of Canada Fun Day.
The Aurora Sports Dome runs a multi sport summer camp for children ages 6 to 13 years, as well as camps on P.A. days and other school holidays. The facility can also be booked for birthday parties, corporate events and private bookings.
The Aurora Sports Dome is located at 115 Industrial Parkway North, between St. John’s Sideroad East and Wellington Street East. For more information call 905-727-2552 or visit www.auroradome.com
