Peace and serenity are just a stone's throw away. 90 acres of natural woodland await you at Eaglewood Resort & Nature Park in Pefferlaw.
Whether you are looking for a one day excursion or an extended getaway, Eaglewood is brimming with wonderful activities to make your stay a memorable one.
Hike the marked trails through marshlands, clearings and ponds while observing the quiet habitat of many animals. The Pineridge Trail is paved for those with strollers, in wheelchairs, and riding bicycles.
For overnight guests, there are camping areas for tenting and trailers. Eaglewood also has a number of accessible cottages.. These are two bedroom units with a kitchen, living room and bathroom that can comfortably sleep eight. For larger parties, these semi detached buildings can have a wall opened to create a spacious four bedroom space.
Enjoy horseback riding? Eaglewood offers lessons and trail rides by qualified professionals as well as horse boarding. Two person horse carts are available for a unique trail experience, and younger enthusiasts will love a pony ride.
There are picnic areas, barbecues, campfire pits, a sports court, children's playground, swimming pond and fishing pond. On-site activities are held year-round. Eaglewood also holds camps throughout the summer.
Eaglewood is breathtaking in the winter as the snow encompasses the trees and shimmers on the ponds. Skate, ski, snowshoe or just walk and bask in the beauty around you.
The resort is also home to the Eaglewood Folk Festival, held each year on the weekend prior to Labour Day. This fun filled event features the best in Canadian songwriters and musicians, an array of artisans, children's shows and activities and lots of delicious food, all in a natural setting.
